Keep the Tattoo Covered: We will clean the tattooed area and send you home with a bandage over your fresh tattoo. For the first few hours, three at a minimum, wear the bandage initially put on your tattoo. When you remove your bandage, please wash and thoroughly clean your hands with antibacterial soap, and dry them before you take it off.
Wash gently: Wash the tattoo area three times a day with soap and water, and gently pat dry. You can use an unscented soap diluted with water for the first three days.
Moisturize: Apply an unscented moisturizer or ointment after washing to keep the tattoo moist. You can switch from an antibiotic ointment to a fragrance-free body lotion after five days.
Avoid water: Don't soak your tattoo for at least two weeks, and avoid swimming, hot tubs, and pools. In the shower, don't let water run directly over the tattoo for long periods, and pat dry with paper towels.
Avoid sun exposure: Keep your tattoo out of direct sunlight for at least two weeks, and use sunblock with at least SPF 50 after that.
Avoid tight clothing: For the first two weeks, wear loose clothing, preferably cotton, and avoid tight accessories like bra straps and waistbands.
Avoid irritation: Don't pick, scratch, peel, slap, or rub your tattoo. You can gently pat the area to soothe itching. Avoid dirty, sweaty, or itchy clothing, and wash gym equipment before use. Don't let anyone touch your tattoo unless they wash their hands.
We want you to love your new tattoo and will be available to answer any questions or concerns you may have following your procedure. We are so grateful to have you as a client! Enjoy your new beautifulart!
Please Note: Fine line tattoo effects vary on different individuals, e.g. skin types that affect the attachment of color. Most clients will need 2 sessions; some will only need 1 and some may even need a 3rd touch-up to complete the look. Failure to follow aftercare instructions may result in infections, pigment loss or discoloration.
