Maris specializes in this hyper-realistic technique. Microblading delivers the most natural looking brow specialized from your natural growth (or lack of). This is the perfect option for those who want to create the illusion of a fuller, better shaped brow that mimics natural growth. When healed, microblading blends beautifully into your natural eyebrow hair for a “your brows but better” look.
Microblading heals best on those with smaller to normal sized pores and may heal inconsistent amongst those who have heavily textured, oily or very sensitive skin. Results last 1-3 years before requiring a color boost, depending on your skin type.
If you are looking for natural results, but aren’t an ideal candidate for microblading, don’t stress! Super natural results are still very possible with a nano brow, hybrid brow or powder brow.

Nano Brows, a secondary hyper-realistic style, are extremely customizable for a natural result with extra fullness or a stronger, more defined brow that looks more filled in. Works well for those with little natural brow hair/sparse areas.
Nano Brows is the perfect choice for those who have excessively oily skin, sensitive or heavily textured skin. This style has potential to last longer in most skin types. Similar to microblading this style creates the illusion of fuller brows while keeping results natural against your brow growth.

hybrid brow

Maris’ Signature Brow! Hybrid brows are a stunning style that creates fluff in the front with hairstrokes and finishes with crispy and dense ends. This style is extremely customizable because it incorporates all every technique and thus can be customized for each individual client.
Hybrid brows can be created on the first session however if the client prefers to start with their most desired style initially to see how they heal, Hybrid brows can then be created on the touchups of either microbladed, nano or powder brows.
Works well for all brows, bu especially those with little natural brow hair/sparse areas and all skin types!

A powder brow, or shading, is a fully shaded brow that is darkest at the tail and lightest/softest at the front, mimicking powder makeup. Shading can be as soft or as bold as you like, and is very customizable. This style is ideal for all skin types. It can actually look just as natural as microblading if that’s your desired look. Please note: fully shaded brows look dark and intense at first, but soften a LOT as they heal.

Saline brow Lightening

Lip blushing is a cosmetic tattooing technique ideal for enhancing your natural lips. Lip blush can improve the color, shape and definition of your lips, even out your lip tone and bring lost color back to the borders of your lips. Color is customizable, but at Wild Violet we specialize in subtle enhancements. Note, lip blush looks very bold when freshly done and heals very natural, like a tinted lip balm or lip stain. Results last 1.5-3 years or more.

Ideal for clients with less than desirable previous brow tattoo that needs to be lightened before a correction can be booked.
A saline solution is implanted in the skin over existing brows tattoo. The ink will lift through the skin, scab, peel, and heal lighter. The process can be repeated as necessary every 12 weeks to lighten any remaining pigment.

Experience. Maris has been in the beauty industry for 21+ years, 7+ as a cosmetic tattoo artist, continuously learning. She has won numerous awards for her makeup artistry and has been published in several international, national and local magazines. She has worked on thousands of faces, from models and celebrities to brides and women everywhere. In early 2019 Maris completed her 1000th brow and is continually learning and achieving new certifications.
Your safety is taken very seriously, and we use only disposable tools that are opened in front of you. The highest quality ink and numbing agents are used to keep you comfortable and ensure the best HEALED results. Maris is a licensed Cosmetic Tattoo Artist, works in a fully licensed tattoo shop, and is fully insured.

We do not require consultations. There is enough time booked at the appointment to discuss your needs, but we offer verbal in-person or virtual consults if you would prefer to come in the chat before booking!

Yes, for over 3 years Maris worked alongside the team at Highbrow.
Although she enjoyed her time working at another studio, in 2023 Maris realized she was ready to own her own studio again and founded Wild Violet.
If I was a client at Highbrow, can I book a color boost?
Yes! You may book a color boost with Maris. Once a client, always a client!
if you had work done elsewhere, not by Maris, you would book a ‘New Treatment’.
If you have had work done with other artists from the old studio, you may be able to have a ‘Color Boost’ not a new treatment. Please email us if this is the case to confirm.

Reminder, anyone with any of the following at the time of the appointment CANNOT be accepted:
Younger than 18 years of age
Pregnant/NursingSkin irritations, a history of keloid scarring or active psoriasis/eczema/rosacea near the treated
Using Accutane or have used Accutane within 1 year from appointment date
Freshly tanned/sunburned face
Chemo or Radiation within 6 months from appointment date
Viral infections (cold/flu/etc.) or disease the day of appointment
On immunosuppressants the day of appointment

Oily Skin: increased oil production can cause hairstrokes to blur and heal lighter.

-Sun exposure: increased sun exposure can fade and discolor the pigment. You will want to use SPF on your PMU.
Bleeding during the procedure: excessive bleeding during the procedure will lead to poor results. While this is not always within our control (like with oily or sensitive skin), it is very important this you follow pre-care guidelines to help minimize bleeding.
It is crucial that you follow all pre-care and aftercare instructions. If pre-care isn't followed, we will not be able to work on your brows / lips. If aftercare isn't followed, you will not have satisfactory healed results. Please look at the "PRE/POST CARE" tab in the site menu.

The pain level for the procedure is considered mild for most clients. Topical anesthetics are used to make sure you comfortable during the procedure; however, pain tolerance varies from client to client.

We require anyone who has had their brows/lips previously tattooed/microbladed by another artist to book an in-person consultation before booking an appointment.
We cannot take all correction cases and will need to see your previous work to determine if we can take you on as a client. Working over previous tattooing is very difficult and can be unpredictable as the type of pigment/method used by the previous artist is unknown.
Correction appointments are far more time consuming and require higher level of expertise. ANYONE with previous work MUST be pre-approved by Maris prior to booking. If you arrive at your appointment with previous work and did not reach out to us before hand, your appointment will be canceled and you will be charged a cancelation fee.
We also offer Saline Lighting/Removal for those clients who are not good correction candidates!

Factors such as skin type, lifestyle, age, metabolism, medications, and pigment color affect the longevity of your cosmetic tattoo. The sun will also affect the rate at which these pigments are broken down. A touch-up anywhere between 1 to 4 years depending on your skin and lifestyle will be required to keep your brows/lips looking fresh!

The initial sessions take about 2-2.5 hours, depending on the type of appointment. During this session, I will shape and style your brows/lips and make any changes needed. We then follow with pigment color selection. Once you are satisfied with the choices, we will apply numbing cream and begin the procedure.
The second perfecting session takes place 6-12 weeks after the initial session. This session will take approximately 1-1.5 hours to complete.
