Wild Violet is a licensed studio and a collective of independent beauty and body art artists in Red Bank, just minutes from North Shore and downtown Chattanooga. Every artist here runs their own business: you set your own prices, build your own clientele, and work the hours that fit your life. We take care of the space, so you can focus on your craft.

Private Rooms

A private room with its own sink, ideal for estheticians, massage therapists, piercers, and PMU or tattoo artists who need privacy. The rooms are unfurnished so you can bring your own setup and make the space truly yours. A cabinet is available on request.
Room with window: $250/week or $1,000/month
Room without window: $225/week or $900/month
Open Stations
Furnished stations with a table, cabinet, and sink, ready for you to walk in and start booking. They're a great fit for tattoo artists, PMU artists, and piercers who don't need a private room.
Full-time: $175/week or $700/month
Part-time, 3 set days with alternating Saturdays: $120/week or $480/month
Part-time, weekdays only: $110/week or $440/month
Still building your books? Our starter commission option lets you pay a percentage of your weekly services instead of flat rent for your first few months, with a weekly cap so you never pay more than a flat renter.

How It Works
Pay your way. Pay weekly, or pay monthly and save.
Month-to-month. No long-term commitment. Agreements renew monthly, with 30 days' notice from either side.
Before you start, we'll ask for:
Your current professional license, plus any establishment license your service requires
Professional liability insurance naming Wild Violet Beauty and our landlord as additional insured
Rental application ($65)
A signed rental agreement

PMU APPRENTICESHIP IN Chattanooga TN
Wild Violet is dedicated to helping artists grow into skilled, confident PMU professionals. Designed for newly certified artists who need to obtain their Tennessee Tattoo Artist License, our apprenticeship offers hands-on experience, meaningful client interactions, and direct mentorship from Maris.
PROGRAM DURATION AND REQUIREMENTS
You will be responsible for taking basic training program(s) before beginning the apprenticeship. Maris can advise you what to take depending on what your focus is. We do not offer any basic training and you must be able to show your work (either on portico skin or real models) before being considered to apprentice.
Our one-year apprenticeship provides a comprehensive, hands-on education. You learn best by doing. As an apprentice you’ll work on real models and clients with our guidance, practicing every step of PMU—consultation, brow mapping, application, and aftercare. This hands-on training builds your skills and confidence in a supportive setting.
Safety is crucial in PMU. You’ll learn strict sanitation and safety steps: skin prep, sterilizing tools, and protecting clients. We’ll teach all safe PMU practices so you can work confidently in any professional setting.
We offer a path that fulfills all necessary requirements for state licensure, including practice hours and observation by a licensed professional.
WHAT DOES THE PMU APPRENTICESHIP COST?
When your apprenticeship license gets the thumbs up from Tennessee’s Health Department, you will work on commission for the duration of the apprenticeship.
