A 20% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your appointment.

This deposit reserves your artist's time exclusively for you — time that cannot be offered to another client once booked. Your deposit is applied toward your total service cost on the day of your appointment.

We accept cash, debit/credit card, or payment plans via Cherry or Afterpay (payment plans must be pre-approved prior to booking; a 6–13% fee applies to payment plan use).

We understand that life happens. Rescheduling is available as a one-time courtesy per booking:

• 48+ hours before your appointment: Reschedule at no additional charge. Your deposit transfers to your new date.

• Less than 48 hours before: Your deposit is forfeited and a new deposit is required to secure the new date.

• Rescheduled appointments must be completed within 60 days of the original date. After 60 days, your deposit is forfeited and a new deposit is required to rebook.

• Only one reschedule is permitted per booking. A second reschedule request forfeits your deposit and requires a new booking.

Payment plan clients: One reschedule is allowed free of charge with 48+ hours notice. Rescheduling with less than 48 hours notice, or rescheduling more than once, forfeits the deposit and requires a new payment plan approval to rebook.

Complementary touchups follow a separate reschedule policy — see Complementary Touch-Up Policy below.

A cancellation is any appointment that is not rescheduled — including situations where a client decides they no longer wish to receive the service.

• All cancellations result in full forfeiture of your deposit, regardless of timing. No additional fee applies.

Still deciding if a service is right for you? We recommend a free virtual consultation before booking, rather than booking and cancelling.

A no-show is any client who does not arrive for their scheduled appointment without prior communication.

• No-shows result in forfeiture of your deposit and a charge of 100% of your remaining service balance.

• Future bookings will require full prepayment.

Our artists prepare specifically for each appointment, and session times are carefully scheduled to deliver the best possible results.

• Arrivals more than 15 minutes late may be treated as a no-show at your artist's discretion. If the remaining time isn't enough to safely complete your service, the appointment will be cancelled and no-show terms apply.

• Running late? Call or text us at (423) 373-4769 as soon as possible. We'll do our best to accommodate you, but we can't guarantee your full session.

Your artist may determine your service cannot be safely performed if you arrive with conditions that compromise the procedure or your results, including but not limited to:

• Sunburned or irritated skin

• Blood thinners or alcohol use

• Retinol in the treatment area

• Undisclosed previous permanent makeup

• Active skin infections

• Caffeine day-of

If your artist cannot proceed for any of these reasons, the appointment is treated as a same-day cancellation and standard cancellation terms apply.

Please review your pre-care instructions carefully before your appointment.

We offer a complementary touchup for select brow, lip, and fine line tattoo services, within a defined window after your initial appointment:

• Brow, lip, and most tattoo services: 6–10 weeks after your initial appointment.

• Fine line tattoos: 6–12 weeks after your initial appointment (paid touchup areas: fingers, hands, wrists, ankles; tattoos larger than 5 inches are priced separately).

Terms

• Your touchup must be booked and completed within the applicable window to qualify as complementary.

• One reschedule of your touchup is allowed free of charge, with at least 72 hours notice.

• If you reschedule with less than 48 hours notice, miss your touchup appointment, or need to move it a second time, the free touchup expires and rebooking costs $50–150+ depending on service type.

If Wild Violet must cancel or reschedule your appointment due to artist illness, emergency, or circumstances beyond our control (including severe weather, power outages, or other disruptions), you will be offered:

• A full reschedule at no penalty, or

• A complete refund of your deposit.

We'll notify you as early as possible and work with you to find a convenient alternative.

We recognize that genuine emergencies occur. If an emergency prevents you from making your appointment, please contact us as soon as you're able.

Emergency situations are handled on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of studio management. Documentation may be requested.

Areas we don't tattoo: Souls of Feet, palms, insides of fingers, stomach, front of neck. Some areas fade faster than others (like palms and feet), and some simply aren't our specialty — we choose placements that age well and fit our style.

Ink colors: Black, grey, and red are the only colors currently available.
