Post Care

Right After Your Procedure

In approx. 30 minutes, use single use cotton pads provided in your kit, gently pat brows and fan dry. Wait 30 minutes and repeat again. This will help prevent potential scabbing from lymph buildup.

Your Wash & Balm Routine

  1. Wash your brows (outside of shower) morning + evening. Use a clean fingertip to gently wash brows with the provided soap in the direction of the hair growth, no rubbing!

  2. Rinse with cool water and pat brows dry a clean paper towel.

  3. Then, apply a rice grain size dab of ointment. Ointment should be barely noticeable on the skin.

  4. Repeat steps 1–3 daily, AM & PM. You may stop washing and applying balm after 10 days post-procedure.

The Following Days

DAYS 2-10:

Do not touch, pick, or scratch the brows. Treat them like you would an open wound. Picking at the scabs can pull the pigment out of the skin.

Do not apply makeup or products onto the brows during the healing process to avoid infection. When they're fully healed, avoid using anti-aging and acne products on them.

During the first week after your appointment, wash your face outside of the shower to avoid excess water running over the brows while the skin is still open. Apply your face wash to a washcloth or facial sponge so you can control where the product and water go — just be sure to avoid the brow area.

Protecting Your Results

  • Keep the brow area dry — no sweating or swimming for 10–14 days until scabbing/flaking is complete.

  • No excessive sweating for the first 7–10 days after the appointment. Sweat contains salt, which can turn the pigment grey-toned and fade it during the healing process.

  • Use the provided shower shields on days where you wash your hair to protect the brows from water, shampoo, and conditioner. This is important for the first 7–10 days. If you have oily skin, wash your face first or use an alcohol pad to wipe the forehead area so the shield sticks properly.

  • Avoid direct sun exposure (wear a hat).

  • Once your brows are fully healed, use a clear SPF stick daily to protect the pigment from getting bleached by the sun.

  • Avoid sleeping on your face and change your pillowcase for a clean one. This helps avoid premature flaking which could cause pigment loss.

We want you to love your new brows and will be available to answer any questions or concerns you may have following your procedure. We are so grateful to have you as a client! Enjoy your new beautiful brows!

Please Note: Effects vary on different individuals, e.g. skin types that affect the attachment of color. Most clients will need 2 sessions; some will only need 1 and some will need a 3rd touch-up to complete the look. Failure to follow aftercare instructions may result in infections, pigment loss or discoloration. The supplies provided in the kit are enough to last through the initial session and touch-up. Should you run out before your touchup, a follow-up kit is available for $15.00.
