Welcome to the Studio: Meet Danielle of Electrolysis by Danielle
We're so excited to share some big news — Wild Violet is now home to Electrolysis by Danielle!
Danielle has joined us here at the studio, and we couldn't be happier to have her.
If you've been curious about permanent hair removal or have struggled to find a solution that actually works, keep reading — her story might sound familiar.
Danielle's Story
Danielle's journey to electrolysis started long before she became a licensed electrologist. As a teenager, she was prescribed topical corticosteroids to treat facial dermatitis — and while the medication helped her skin, it came with an unexpected side effect: unwanted hair growth.
She tried method after method to deal with it, but nothing worked. In fact, many treatments made the problem worse. Feeling frustrated and ready to give up, she discovered electrolysis — and it was the first thing that actually gave her lasting relief. It remains, to this day, the only truly effective permanent solution she found for unwanted hair.
That personal experience is what led her to this work. She felt a strong pull to share electrolysis with others facing the same frustrating, often isolating search for a real, lasting answer.
With over 21 years of experience in the healthcare field and as a licensed electrologist in both California and Tennessee, Danielle has spent the last five years building a thriving practice of her own. Her focus goes beyond hair removal — it's about helping people feel more confident, more comfortable, and more like themselves. Whether it's someone's first time exploring electrolysis or they're picking the journey back up again, she takes real pride in supporting them through it.
What Is Electrolysis?
If you're new to electrolysis, here's the short version:
It's the only FDA-approved method for permanent hair removal. Using a small electric current, it destroys the hair follicle at the root, preventing future growth for good — not just temporarily, like shaving, waxing, or depilatory creams.
Who Is Electrolysis For?
One of the best things about electrolysis is how versatile it is. It works on any area of the body, any skin tone, and any hair color — including blonde, white, grey, or red hair, which many other hair removal methods simply can't treat.
People come to Danielle for all kinds of reasons, including:
Anabolic steroid-induced hair growth
Androgen-induced hair growth
Excessive body hair
Endocrine conditions like PCOS
Menopausal or hormone-related hair growth
Laser-induced hair growth (paradoxical hypertrichosis)
Minoxidil-induced hair growth
Hair removal prep for SRS surgery
How Long Does It Take?
Because hair grows in cycles — anagen, catagen, and telogen — full results take a series of treatments over time. At any given moment, the hair you can actually see only makes up about 30% of the hair present in that area; the rest is still cycling through other growth stages beneath the surface.
Your total treatment time depends on a few factors:
Previous hair removal methods used
Hair density in the treatment area
Hormone imbalances
How often you're able to come in for appointments
One important note from Danielle: try to avoid waxing, plucking, or tweezing during your treatment process. Those methods disrupt her ability to see and treat the hair, which can actually prolong your journey to being hair-free.
The Technology Behind Her Work
Danielle uses the Apilus xCell Pur — one of the most advanced electrolysis machines available. It's built for maximum client comfort while still being highly effective on deeply rooted, stubborn hair. She carefully customizes the settings and care plan to fit each client's unique skin, hair, and goals.
Getting Started
If you're ready to explore electrolysis, the first step is filling out the Client Consultation Request Form on her Contact page, including the area you'd like treated and your availability. Every new client goes through a consultation first — this is where Danielle walks through the process, discusses any health considerations, and answers your questions before any treatment begins.
Once your appointment is confirmed, she'll send over intake forms and everything you need to know to prepare for your visit.
